This SA-10/12/15 v.2 series is a top-down upgrade from the original SA series. The 2.75” coil punches way above its weight, outperforming many 3” coils without the adding weight & with the added advantage of a wider spider. We are able to perfectly balance the mass, motor force, and suspension stiffness for the intended power level.

The motor also features a large magnet shorting ring (faraday ring) to reduce distortion and deliver smoother response across the entire acoustic spectrum. The motor & coil setup is mated to an extremely robust multi-layer spider with fully tied-on & doubled-up “XL” tinsel leads. A competition-grade paper cone, strong foam surround, and cast aluminum frame are used to complete this masterpiece. On top of the ~19mm of one-way linear excursion we have an x-mech limit of 37mm one-way before coil bottom making it nearly "bottomless."

The 18" model features a larger diameter motor to drive the higher mass.
